Clear Answers. Confident Decisions.

H.O.M.E. is designed to simplify home management for homeowners and their families. Below are answers to the most common questions we receive when exploring professional home oversight.

Is H.O.M.E. a handyman services?

No. H.O.M.E. provides professional home oversight and coordination. While we manage maintenance and service needs, our role is to oversee the home as a whole, ensuring issues are identified, addressed, and followed through with accountability.

How is this different from property management?

Traditional property management is designed for rental properties. H.O.M.E. is focused on owner-occupied homes, providing proactive oversight, maintenance coordination, and accountability tailored to homeowners and their families.

Is H.O.M.E. a senior care or medical service?

No. H.O.M.E. does not provide medical, personal, or care services. Our focus is exclusively on the home environment, helping ensure it remains safe, functional, and well managed to support independence.

How involved do family members need to be?

As involved as they choose. H.O.M.E. provides visibility and clear communication so family members, particularly adult children, can remain informed and confident without managing day-to-day details or frequent travel.

What if my parents are hesitant or prefer independence?

Our approach is respectful and consultative. Many homeowners appreciate having a single, trusted point of contact for the home that reduces stress without taking control. Engagement is designed to support independence, not replace it.

Do you work with existing service providers?

Yes. We can coordinate with existing service providers or recommend trusted partners when needed. Our role is to ensure services are coordinated, completed properly, and aligned with the needs of the home.

How do we get started?

Getting started begins with an Initial Home Review. This allows us to understand the home, establish priorities, and determine the appropriate level of oversight before recommending a membership option.

Can H.O.M.E. help when warranty companies or service providers are involved?

Yes. When service providers or warranty representatives are on site, H.O.M.E. can provide professional oversight by observing work performed, documenting outcomes, and helping ensure issues are clearly addressed. This supports the long-term condition of the home and helps reduce repeat problems. Disclaimer: H.O.M.E. does not provide legal, repair, warranty, or claims handling services. Our role is professional home oversight, documentation, and coordination.
