H.O.M.E. was built on a simple principle: homes function best when responsibility is clear and accountability is centralized. That principle is sustained through strong, long-term relationships. Oversight is only effective when trust exists, communication is consistent, and expectations are aligned from the start.
With a background as a licensed contractor and more than two decades in finance, I’ve spent my career managing complexity, risk, and long-term planning. Later work in senior and long-term care environments reinforced a critical lesson. When coordination breaks down and relationships are fragmented, outcomes suffer. When communication is clear and responsibility is owned, results improve.
That understanding became personal while supporting grandparents through their retirement years. It revealed a growing gap for homeowners and families who needed reliable oversight of the home itself, along with a trusted point of contact who understood both the property and the people involved.
Too often, home maintenance becomes reactive. Vendors operate independently, communication is inconsistent, and no single party is accountable for the full picture. Relationships are transactional rather than dependable.
